Providing learning opportunities for 15,000 students, 1,500 of whom are studying full-time, Abingdon and Witney College is the largest single provider of education in south and west Oxfordshire.
The College delivers a wide range of programmes through three sites and takes learning into the community and workplace. Courses include AS/A levels, vocational subjects in Animal Care, Art & Design, Complimentary Health & Beauty Therapy, Business, Care, Engineering, Equine, Horticulture, IT, Media, Motor Vehicle, Music Technology, Performing Arts, Sport, Travel & Tourism and Supported Learning. Part-time course provision is extremely varied and caters for students of all ages and abilities.
The sites are:
• The Abingdon Campus, the largest of the college campuses
• The Witney Campus, conveniently situated in the heart of Witney
• Common Leys Farm, the Equine Centre at Common Leys Farm, Hailey, near Witney
The College continues to strive for excellence and, as well as a Centre for Vocational Excellence (CoVE) for IT systems support and a CISCO accredited centre, it has now, through partnership with other colleges, training providers and employers, been awarded interim CoVE status for Engineering and Health Care.
