Bracknell & Wokingham College
Bracknell and Wokingham College is one of the largest training providers in the area. Established for over 40 years, it offers a full range of part-time leisure and professional courses, full-time courses for 16-19 year olds, and an expanding selection of higher education options.
The Learning and Skills Council has officially acknowledged the College as 'Excellent' based on its successful Ofsted inspection – making us part of an elite group of only 15 out of all 275 colleges nationwide.
We are one of the best performing colleges in Berkshire at Advanced Level, with around 1000 full-time students of all abilities aged over 16 who take a range of courses to prepare them for university or employment.
The College's new Eastern Road Centre in Bracknell houses its work-based learning team offering National Vocational Qualifications and Apprenticeships. Over 200 pupils aged 14-16 also attend there from local schools for one or two mornings a week studying subjects like Motor Vehicle maintenance, Administration, Child Care and Hairdressing.
For employers the College provides an extensive range of courses to meet both personal and corporate objectives. We also offer a bespoke course design service. We are working towards Action for Business College status.
Also on offer is a range of around 1500 part-time courses for the thousands of adults studying at the College's 20 centres throughout the area.
Bracknell and Wokingham College has achieved Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) status in Infrastructure Technology and in Adult Health and Social Care.
