Fareham College

Fareham College is situated on a 10 acre campus near to the centre of Fareham, with extensive on-campus parking and served by buses and trains, making it easily accessible.

Smaller than most other general further education colleges, with 1,400 full time and 4,000 part time students, Fareham College offers its students more individual attention. Indeed the college has an excellent reputation for looking after the pastoral needs of its students, and is recognised as a leading vocational course provider in the area.

The college made significant investment in its facilities during 2004, including new Engineering machine tools; additional Beauty Therapy training rooms; new Music studios; refurbished Training Restaurant; increased Performing Arts rehearsal facilities, and new learning technology across the campus.
Additionally £1M scheme to improve access to the college has recently been completed, featuring automatic entrance doors, ramps, new internal doors, disabled WCs, lifts, improvements to lighting, assistance alarms, door entry systems, induction loops and visual fire alarms.

The college offers 70 full time vocational and occupational courses, many of which can lead directly to University, as well a range of AS / A-level courses. There are also hundreds of vocational career oriented part time courses meeting the needs of local people and employers.
