Plumpton College

Plumpton College is a specialist land-based college offering provision in Agriculture, Horticulture, Floristry, Metalsmithing, Mechanisation, Sports (Outdoor Education), Forestry and Arboriculture, Countryside Management, Wine Studies, Equine, Animal Care and Business Management to students on courses ranging from 14-16 'Increased Flexibility' programmes, through First and National Diplomas, to Higher National Diplomas and Foundation Degrees. In addition to the extensive range of full time courses, Work Based learning, part time and NVQ courses cover an extensive range of subjects.

Students have the opportunity to be resident within the College's residential hostels.

The main College is situated near the East Sussex county town of Lewes and the College has an Outreach Centre based near Hastings.

To provide relevant vocational training, Plumpton College has a managed 600 hectare estate giving practical opportunities in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry and Arboriculture, Countryside Management, Machinery and Equine studies. The College is a Centre of Vocational Excellence in Rural Business Management Training which reflects the importance to the College of its Services to Business Department.
