West Kent College

West Kent College is located in the market town of Tonbridge in the heart of the Weald of Kent. Tonbridge is served by excellent rail links to the Sussex and Kent coasts as well as being just a 35-minute train journey from central London.

The College itself offers a range of academic and vocational courses both full and part time in areas such as Engineering, Sports and Childcare. Also on offer are adult leisure and professional courses and IT training at 4 IT Centres based in town centre locations.

Higher Education courses are delivered in partnership with the Universities of Greenwich, Kent and Leicester.

In September 2004 the College opened its Construction Crafts Centre a dedicated facility for all construction craft courses at North Farm Industrial Estate in Tunbridge Wells.

West Kent College aims to provide teaching and learning to the highest possible standard, to support this we have state-of-the-art IT facilities, a language centre, television, radio, art and photography studios as well as workshops and classrooms with interactive whiteboards, laboratories, hairdressing and beauty therapy salons and kitchens.

Services for employers include the dedicated business-training arm – West Kent Skills Development offering tailored courses to local employers and employees.
