Alton College is a nationally renowned centre of excellence for sixth form education. Specialising in the highest quality education and training and offering a broad curriculum for some 2,000 16-18 year old learners and 1,900 part-time adult learners, the College received Ofsted praise in November 2009 with Grade 1 Outstanding across the board. It is one of only a few Colleges in the country to have achieved Beacon Status and was awarded a national AoC Beacon Award in recognition of its partnership work with Treloar College on Learning Disabilities.
Alton College offers a truly inspiring environment in which to study. Its modern campus, a mix of purpose-built designs blending with open space, is welcoming and attractive. A strong feature of the learning environment is the range of private study spaces alongside superbly well-equipped specialist teaching areas and state of the art facilities.
