Havant Sixth Form College is a successful and established institution which offers its students a personalised educational journey in a small, friendly and supportive environment. We currently have approximately 1200 full time students and recruit from a wide area due to fantastic transport links. In August 2010 a 97% pass rate was recorded with 74% of students achieving A* – C grades at A Level which exceeds the Sixth Form College (SFC) national benchmark by 5%. 47% of students achieved the tougher A*- B grades, which again exceeds the national SFC benchmark. Our students achieved an outstanding 806.09 Average Points Score in 2010. At Havant Sixth Form College we offer a wide choice of subjects to help students achieve their ambition and goals. Students can choose their own personalised programme from 45 A Levels and a range of BTECs and GCSEs. The College’s Careers Service enjoys a national reputation. Entry to university is our specialism. In 2010, 82% of our students were successful in their university applications, exceeding the national percentage of 69%. We also offer specialist support for Oxbridge, Medicine and Veterinary Science.
