Itchen Sixth Form College offers high quality courses – from foundation learning to foundation degrees – to students of all ages and abilities. Achievement is high, with student studying a wide range of courses including A Levels, BTECs and vocational. In 2011 students achieved a 98% A Level pass rate and an increase in those gaining high grades A*-B.
Itchen offers so much more than just academic success. In addition to the personal and academic support offered to each student and its gifted and talented programme, Itchen is a community which encourages lifelong friendships, creativity and sporting excellence. Each year, through Itchen’s successful International School, approximately 100 students attend the college from all over the world.
For over 19s Itchen’s Adult Education department provides education and training opportunities, enabling them to gain skills for work, progress to university, take up a new hobby or study a higher education qualification.
